I have a massive amount of original photography that
I use in my work. My favorite activity of all time is travel.
I spent 1992 traveling around the world (really) with my backpack.
Traveling requires patience, resourcefulness and an extremely
forgiving digestive system.
As of 2008, I have visited: Argentina, Australia,
Bahamas, Belgium, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, China, Croatia, Czech
Republic, Estonia, Egypt, England, Finland, France, Germany, Greece,
Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania,
Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, New Zealand, Norway, Panama, Peru, Russia,
San Blas, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain,
Swaziland, Sweden, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago, Turkey, and
Venezuela... so far...
and geek at large
I opened my studio in 1996 and have been self employed
ever since. No nylon stockings for me! No, I don't wear fuzzy
slippers, but suffice to say... I'm in charge:)
George Washington University
I provide hands-on
instruction and lecture-style seminars for multimedia/web
interface designers. I prepare original material using: Photoshop,
Illustrator, ImageReady, After Effects, Dreamweaver, Director,
Fireworks, Flash, BBEdit, and many different "toys." The real
job is about empowering others. I am always trying to relate cool
design techniques & practical methods.
ART DIRECTOR/ANIMATION ARTIST
Capital Centre... Ancient History
In short, I created animated scoreboard graphics and
building signage/graphics. In return, besides the rather pathetic
salary, I attended boatloads of hockey games, basketball games,
concerts, ice shows and the like.
